Schedule of Events for the 2015 Show

Show Schedule:
Friday:
9 AM – 2PM Kids Day. Show is open to area schools and home schools. Not all show activities are active during this time.

2 – 4 PM Doors to the show are closed.

4 PM Show opens to the general public. Grand Prize Entry Slips available, door prizes given out hourly, dealer booths will be fully displayed; auctions, Petoskey stone polishing and craft area will be open.

Tentative Presentation Schedule: Presentation to run approximately 30 minutes.

Saturday
12:00 noon – Meteorites
Presented by Dave Haas

2:00 PM- Intro to Minerals
Presented by Jerry VanNocker

Sunday

11:00 AM Earth’s Earliest Animal Life:
Donald Baumgartner (of Fossil Hut LTD) will explore the PreCambrian Ediacaran Post-Snow Ball Earth. Actual Vendian Fossils will be viewable after the presentation and be available for sale.

1:00 PM The Mystery of MI Beach Glass and MI Furnace Glass:
Patti Oakland – Many people know of Leelanau blue but lake glass of various colors can be found along the great lakes. Get the scoop here.

2:00 PM Agates:
Jack Fuller provides some answers to the Mysterious World of Agates.
